FROG DISSECTION QUALIFICATION

Over the next several weeks we will be studying the digestive, respiratory, and excretory systems of the body. Following this chapter we will have the opportunity to dissect frogs to have a first-hand look at a digestive system that is similar in structure to ours. In order to dissect a frog, students must prove that they understand how our digestive, respiratory, and excretory systems work. To qualify for dissecting, students will have to earn a score of an 80% or higher for the chapter. Students will be able to keep track of their scores throughout the chapter to record their progress. At the end of the chapter test, students will know if they have qualified for the dissection lab. Keep track of your scores and keep those scores up so that we can all experience the dissection.

Mrs. Klavuhn is Returning

For the past several weeks, I have been at home with my newborn son. Although I'm sad about leaving him at the babysitter's, I'm looking forward to returning to school and finishing out the year with all of you. See you on Monday the 13th of April.
